Grimtone are a Black Metal band, When I usually do some research on a band, I usually put up where a band comes from and who is in it, but couldn’t anything. Well, I am here for the music.
Over the last few days, I have listened to the Momento Mori album a good few times now and I must say that this band Grimtone and the album Momento Mori are brilliant.
Ever since I started Project Metal Music over two and a half years ago, I have listened to a lot of Black Metal and all of it has been pretty good and there has been some bands that have been spectacular and Grimtone is one of them.
The songs that got my attention on this album are: Souls Reborn In Hate, The Blood Of The Dead, the title track Momento Mori, Armageddon (Rise From Hell), Witch’s Lair and Empress Of Black Light. The reason why I love these tracks is for the combination of the drums and guitars as they propel the songs along at awesome pace which I liked a great deal.
I liked this album so much, I have played a Double Shot of Souls Reborn In Hate and The Blood Of The Dead on my radio show Project Metal Across The Pond on Digital Revolution Radio a few weeks ago.
