Madre Sun: Speed Of Light Single Review

Madre Sun are a Rock band based out of London, UK, The band consists of Eduardo Cavina – Vocals/Bass, Tyson Schenker – Lead Guitar, Flipi Stipp – Drums and Matt Cavina – Backing Vocals/Guitar.

The band is formed by Cavina brothers, Eduardo and Matt with Flipi Stipp on drums and Tyson Schenker on the lead guitar.

Madre Sun are releasing another single off their EP Speed Of Light (which is due for release in July 2020). The single that is being released is called Speed Of Light, and it will be released on June 26th 2020 worldwide with a video to accompany the song.

Well what can I say, Madre Sun has done it again with this song Speed Of Light. The vocals and bass from Eduardo are amazing, the drums from Flipi are superb, the guitars from Matt and Tyson are so sweet and unbelievably good, and the riffs, oh my god they are to die for. So, after listened to the Speed Of Light song on several occasions, I could pick out about the theory of time travel if you hit the speed of light or close to it. So I asked Matt what the back story of the song was, and this is what he had to say:

The song reflects on how we live at the speed of light nowadays, with less and less time on our hands. “Speed Of Light’ is about this rush, when a certain point arrives that we’ll reach the speed of light and go back in time. It won’t change anything because we will do it all again” comments Matt Cavina, guitarist and backing vocal for Madre Sun, who was also inspired by the scientific theory proposed by Einstein to write the lyrics.

Well, what a brilliant song and a brilliant subject matter to put in a song. Madre Sun has done it again with this song Speed Of Light. I would highly recommend that you go and check out Madre Sun on their Facebook page for more information about the band.

I would give Madre Sun and their Speed Of Light single a 5 out of 5 for a superb song.
