Midnite Hellion is a Heavy Metal band from Trenton, New Jersey, USA. The band consists of Rich Kubik – Bass/Vocals, Mark Siedlecki II – Lead Guitars and Drew Rizzo – Drums.
Over the years, I have listened to a lot of bands that come under the Heavy Metal genre, and some of them have became my ultimate favourite bands of all time, some of them are Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Black Sabbath, just to name a few. When Midnite Hellion sent me their Condemned To Hell album, I was OK, lets see what you have install for me. So I put the album on to see what the album was about, and my initial thoughts were, OK this band has an 80’s Metal vibe to them, especially on some of the vocals. When I fully listened to the album, my initial thoughts were born out, as this band is really good.
The track listings: Black And White, Death Dealer, Cross The Line, Enter The Nightmare, Soldiers Of Hades, The Fever, Rip It Up, The Morrigan and Teenage Bloodsuckin’ Bimbos.
Over the course of the album, there is some tracks that I really liked. The first is Black And White, as this has a brilliant intro, as there is radio tuner going through the stations until it stops onto one where the DJ basically introduces the band, the song kicks properly, and I found that I really like it as it has that Thrash and NWOBHM to it, the vocals reminds me of Paul Di’anno. Death Dealer is another song that I liked, as I like the drumming on the song, coupled that with the brilliant guitar riffing, and cool vocals, this is one of my favourite tracks of the album.
Another song that I liked is Cross The Line, as this has some cool guitar shredding and the drums are insanely good and fast a must be heard song to get the full effect of this. Enter The Nightmare is another great song, the intro is something that ELP would do, but then it kicks in with the Metal music, this track has some amazing riffs, the drumming is on point and the vocals as well.
Soldiers Of Hades, is another good song, as I liked everything about the track, the band has written and performed a great track. The Fever has some good riffs, the vocals are really good and the drumming brilliant. Rip It Up is the shortest track off the album, coming in at just under two minutes, and it is fast and aggressive, with some cool riffs and the drums are impressive.
The Morrigan, now I like this song as, to me, its has an Iron Maiden vibe to it, especially on the guitars, the drumming is on point and also a highlight for me. The last song on the album is Teenage Bloodsuckin’ Bimbos, I like this, as it has a sort of fun element to it, and poking fun at the teenage culture, the music and vocals are good on this track as usual and is a must listen to.
Well, what can I say about Midnite Hellion, other than, that this band is brilliant, so if you are into the Heavy Metal genre and/or looking for something new to listen to, then I would highly recommend that you go and check Midnite Hellion out on their Facebook page.
I would give Midnite Hellion and their Condemned To Hell album a solid 4.5 out of 5 a very brilliant album
