The Serpent Motors: Rock N Roll Radio Album Review

The Serpent Motors are a Rock N Roll band from Chesterfield, Derbyshire, UK. The band consists of Rob Townsend – Guitar and Vocals, Mike Buck – Drums and Ryan Janick Masters – Bass.

When I first heard of The Serpent Motors it was back in 2017. As Robert got in contact with me via social media, asking if I was interested in doing a review for the EP Oil On Fire, and I said, Yeah I would love to do review. so, in that intervening time, The Serpent Motors had written and record a brand new album Rock N Roll Radio, which will be released on September 6th 2018 via Bandcamp and on October 1st 2018 on Spotify.

As I listened to this new offering from the band, I must admit that they have written a superb album, it is a vain of Punk Rock. The overall sound that this album has, has a  Ramones vibe to it. If you have a love of the Seventies and the Ramones style of Punk then you are going to love the Rock N Roll Radio album.

The songs that I have found that I liked or I have found interesting are: Shout (Rock n Roll Radio), Aint Got Time To Worry, Feather In Your Cap, Make You Bleed, On Your Bike, Rollercoaster and Sweet Is The Girl.

On some of the songs they tend to lean towards the Rock genre with such songs Feather In Your Cap and Make You Bleed. The rest of the songs have that Ramones style of Punk. This Thursday (September 6th 2018), on my radio show Project Metal Across The Pond, I will be doing a Double Shot of The Serpent Motors, where I will be playing to songs from the Rock n Roll Radio album so tune in for that.

If you like the Punk genre, then you will like The Serpent Motors. I would highly recommend that you go and check these guys out on their Facebook or Bandcamp pages.

I would give The Serpent Motors and their album Rock N Roll Radio a 5 out 5, for a superb Punk album
