Crossing Eternity: The Rising World Album Review

Crossing Eternity are a Rock and Metal band from Bucharest, Romania, Linköping, Sweden and Germany. The band consists of Berti Barbera – vocal/percussion intruments, Manu Savu – Guitar, Uffe Tilman – Drums, and Johann Hentz – Bass.

Over the years, since I started listening to Rock and Metal, I have come to like a lot of genres of Rock and Metal. When Crossing Eternity sent through The Rising World album, I was like OK, What have you got for me?. As I put the album on in the background, so I could get the general vibe of the music and where the band is coming from. As I was listening to it, the vibe that I got from the album is a touch of  Symphonic Metal with a hint of Progressive Metal.

As I listened to The Rising World album in a more in depth capacity, and on most of the songs I find that either I like them or I found some of the songs interesting and they are: Crossing Eternity, Ghost Of A Storm, Sand In The Sky, High Above The Crown, Kingdome Come, Embrace Your Voices, Journey To The End Of Dreams, Winter Poem, Haunted, Dreams Fall, Angles Cry, Rainbows Hide, Spirit Of The Forest and War Of Gods.

Sand In The Sky is one of my favourite tracks as it has some sweet guitars on it and the vocals are brilliant, as they remind me somewhat of Bruce Dickinson. On Winter Poem I love everything on this song as it has got everything, it has a good pace, all instruments are on point and it has some amazing string arrangements to it, and it adds that like something to it, which makes it epic. Dreams Fall is one hell of a track, it reminds me slightly of the Tyranny Of Souls album by Bruce Dickinson as it has some elements similar to that album.

If you are into Rock or Metal and want to get into a new band or want to listen to a new band, then Crossing Eternity is for you, so I would highly recommend that you go and check these guys out on their Facebook page. The Rising World is one of the best albums that I have heard this year so far, as it is epic as hell. If you ever get the chance to buy this album, go buy it, as this album needs to be in your music collection.

I would give Crossing Eternity and The Rising World album a 5 out of 5 for an Epic album.
