Concrete Eden: Left Album Review

Concrete Eden are a Rock, Metal, Nu Metal, Hardcore band from Graz, Austria. The band consists of Hannes (drums), Erwin (guitar), Tom (bass) and Mike (vocals).

When Concrete Eden sent me the Left album through the other week, I was like OK, What have you got for me? As I started to listen to the album, I did a little bit of research on the band, now, when I looked on their Facebook page, whilst listening to the album, on there the genre that came up was Nu Metal, also I could hear some of their influences as Korn and Limp Bizkit. I tend not to listen to either Korn or Limp Bizkit or even any Nu Metal bands, because personally, I don’t like the bands or the genre.

So, that being said, I thought I’d give Concrete Eden a chance and listen to them and see what they got. As I listened to the Left album I can see where they are coming from with the album, but it is not my cup of tea. Don’t get me wrong I have found that I did enjoy a couple tracks off the album, like Chains and Communication Fails.

Well, I was surprised that I liked some of Concrete Eden’s songs, but overall I wasn’t overly impressed by them, but I can see why some people like the Nu Metal genre. If you do like the Nu Metal genre, go and check out Concrete Eden on their Facebook page.

I would give Concrete Eden and the Left album a 3.5 out of 5
