Ignitor: Haunted By Rock & Roll Album Review

Ignitor are a Classic Heavy Metal band from Austin, Texas, USA. The band consists of Jason McMaster, Stuart Laurence, Robert Williams, Billy Dansfiell and Pat Doyle.

in the last few months, there have been a good twenty bands from the US that have sent me their music, and out of those twenty bands, a good six or seven of them have come from the Texas area, and Ignitor is one of those bands. After I listened to their Haunted By Rock & Roll album, they are up with the best of them from Texas. These guys are really good.

The album Haunted By Rock & Roll is a brilliant album, as it harks back to the height of Heavy Metal of the 1980’s, as Ignitor has captured the essence of the period. Of all the tracks on the album that got my interest: To Brave The War, Haunted By Rock & Roll, Heavy Is The Head That Wears The Crown, Hatchet (The Ballad of Victory Crowley), Leather Forever, Nomad, No Sanctuary and Hung Drawn And Quartered.

When I listened to all the album, I could hear some of their influences in the music, I could hear some Iron Maiden in the guitars, Accept in the vocals etc. Haunted By Rock & Roll has to be one of best Heavy Metal albums of the year so far.

If you are a huge fan of the Heavy Metal genre or Maiden or Accept, you’ll gonna love Ignitor, as this band is amazing. I would highly recommend that you go and check these guys out on their Facebook page.

I would give Ignitor and their Haunted By Rock & Roll a definite 5 out of 5, This is how a Heavy Metal album should be.
