Max Phoenix: Knife City Album Review

Max Phoenix is a Rock band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

In the last year or so, I have been getting a lot of music sent to me via my email, and I would say that about fifty per cent of it comes through from the Project Metal Music Twitter page, and Max Phoenix was one of those bands that sent their album Knife City to me via the contact details on Twitter.

As I put the album, Knife City on, I was immediately taken with what Max Phoenix has created on the Knife City album. Now, the album has that eighties rock vibe going on throughout the album, and I have listened to this style of music in over twenty five years, so it was a pleasant surprise when I started to listen the songs off the album.

The songs that took my interest are: Weekend News, Certain Girls, Nowhere To Hide, How’s About, Bad People, Knife City, On The Run, Dangerous Girls, Like A Wolf and The Truth. As I have listened to the Knife City album a good few times now I must that, I really enjoyed this album.

Overall, the songs on this album are very catchy and your foot will start tapping you listen to the album. If you are a fan of the eighties rock, you will like Max Phoenix and the Knife City album. I would recommend that you go and check these guys out on their Twitter and CDBaby pages for more information.

I would give Max Phoenix and their album Knife City a 4 out of 5 for a good solid album.
