Megalomatic: Symbolism EP Review

Megalomatic are a Heavy and Progressive Metal band from Glasgow, Scotland, The band consists of Jamie – Drums, Ben – Bass and Craig – Guitar & Vocals.

In the past few months, I have gotten a good few bands from Scotland sending me EP’s and albums through, and all of these bands have been good if not better. I have listened to Megalomatic’s Symbolism EP a good few times, over the last week, I have come to realize that the EP is really good and it is well written and performed by the band.

As I delved into the EP, I do like the riffs on the songs and I also like the vocals that Craig has done for the EP. The songs that I found that I liked or found interesting on this 5 track EP are: A Yellow Car, A Golden Chariot, Trider, Cesspit, Direction and Silky. Trider is a track that I found that I liked the most as this is more Progressive and I do like the genre.

Overall I quite liked the Symbolism EP and the band Megalomatic, as these guys are heavy and gritty as hell. If you are into the Heavy and Progressive Metal I recommend that you go and check these guys out on their Facebook and Bandcamp pages as they are good.

I would give Megalomatic and the EP Symbolism a 4.5 out of 5.
