Expulser: Fornications EP Review

Expulser is a Death and Black Metal band from Lavras, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The band consists of Alessandro Lima – Bass, Junior Espartano – Vocals, Vinicius Destroyer – Drums and Alex Evaristo – Guitars. Expulser is an interesting band, as they disbanded back in 2004 after a fifteen years, and the reformed back in 2015 with the original bassist.

I have come to know Brazil for its Hard Rock, Thrash and Metal scene, with such bands like Brutallian, Cavina, Thunderspell and of course Soulfly and Sepultura, just to name but a few bands. As I listen this three track EP a good few times, and I can say that Expulser is up there with the best of Brazilian bands that are out there.

The tracks on this EP are Vomiting in Paradise, The Offensor and No Resurrection. I quite like all three songs, but I do like The Offensor and No Resurrection they have some really sweet guitars and drumming on them.

The EP Fornications is a really good old school Black and Death Metal offering and I would recommend that you go and check out Expluser on their Facebook page, that is if you are looking for a new band to get into or just love the Black and Death Metal genres.

I would give Expluser a 4.5 out of 5 for a brilliant offering.
