Uncle Sid: Music Review

Uncle Sid are a Melodic Hard Rock and Metal band from Vancouver, Canada. The band consists of Emerald Green/Vocals, Frank Scars/Guitar, Kirk October/Bass
and Dale Salive/Drums.

When Dale the drummer contacted me via Project Metal Music Twitter account a little over a week ago, to see if i was interested in doing a review of a band, I said OK send me a link so I can listen and review the band, so he did. Dale sent me to Uncle Sid’s ReverbNation page.

As I started to play the music that they posted up on there, I was pretty much immediately struck how good these guys are. Other the last five to ten years, Canada has really raised their game and have produced some amazing bands and Uncle Sid is yet another brilliant band.

The tracks that I listened to, on Reverbnation are Master Of Fate, Evilution, Horns Up!, Devil With A Halo, Empire, The Road and Code Blue. All of the songs are really good, as they are riff and shred laden, the drums are spot on and the vocals provided by Emerald Green are superb.

In the last week or so, since I started listening to Uncle Sid, I have become a big fan of theirs. The track Horns Up! has to be my favourite song by them. To me this song has a perfect blend of everything that a hard rock song should be.

Anyways, all the tracks a absolutely brilliant, and I would highly recommend that you go and check Uncle Sid out on their ReverbNation, Facebook and Twitter pages, you will not be disappointed.

I would give Uncle Sid and their music a 5 out of 5, I would give more as they are amazing.
