Dusius: Memory Of A Man Album Review

Dusius is a Viking Folk Metal band from Parma, Italy. The band consists of Rocco: songwriter, guitar, choralist, High: songwriter, lead vocalist, Paso: songwriter, bass, backing vocalist, Alle “il malvagio”: songwriter, keyboards, Kra: songwriter, guitar, Fab: songwriter, drums and Davide:songwriter, flutes, bagpipe, hurdy-gurdy.

Well, Italy has done it again, they have produced another brilliant band, this time in Dusius, this Viking-Folk Metal band from Parma, Italy, is pretty good, and has written some awesome tunes on the album Memory Of A Man.

Over the course of the album, the use of the hurdy-gurdy and the bagpipes are brilliant counter point to the electric guitar and drums.

As I have listen to this album several times, there are several tracks that stood out for me, they are: Slainte, The Rage Of The Gods, One More Pain, Dear Elle, Dead-End Cave, Hope, The Betrayal, Funeral March II and the last and hidden track Hierogamy.

All of these tracks have some sweet guitars whether they be acoustic or electric and the drumming is superb these tracks, they also have some brilliant bagpipes and hurdy-gurdy parts as well.

Dusius are a brilliant band and I could happily listen them all day, and I would gladly and highly recommend Dusius to anyone. So go and check this band out on their Facebook page for more information.

I would give Dusius and the Memory Of A Man a 4.5 out of 5, If you love the Viking Metal genre, you’ll gonna love this band.
